Who Are Beavers?
We are adventurous young people aged 6 to 8 who meet up each week in groups called Colonies, taking part in a fun-packed programme both at our weekly meetings and extra weekend events!

Learn about BeaversBadges & Awards
There's lots of opportunity to gain awards at Beavers, and we often work our programme around the badges.
Find out what badges and awards are available, and what you can do in or out of Beaver meetings to gain them.

You won't need a uniform when you first join, but once you've settled in you'll need somewhere to put all your badges.

Once you reach the age of 8, you'll be ready to face the next big adventure, Cubs! There you'll be taking part in even bigger experiences with like minded young people aged 8 to 10½ years old. Find out more about the Cub Pack in Eccleston below.

All of our leaders are trained volunteers who run the group and make sure our beaver colony is always a fun and safe place to be.
We're always looking for adults to come along and help whether it's visiting occasionally to share your skills or to help run the Colony week in, week out. No matter how much time you have to spare, see how it works for you...
